Mount Royal Kantorei celebrates Canada 150 with this intimate concert exploring Canadian history, landscapes, and talent with a combination of sophistication and humour.
Hear Canadian classics such as Ian Tyson’s Four Strong Winds, the lively Newfoundland folksong Feller from Fortune, Ron Smail’s arrangements of Barrett’s Privateers by Stan Rogers, and other traditional and contemporary selections.
Canada 150 Calgary: Celebrating Canadian Songs and Composers takes place at 7:00pm on November 27, 2017 at Christ Church Elbow Park (3602 8th St. SW).
