Featuring the premiere of a new work by Calgary Youth Orchestra alumnus Scott Ross-Molyneux in celebration of Canada’s sesquicentennial, don’t miss this fantastic concert.
Under the direction of conductor Edmond Agopian, the CYO is the flagship orchestra in Mount Royal Conservatory’s Orchestral Program and you can hear them perform overtures by Mozart, Beethoven and Shostakovich. Internationally recognized as one of Canada’s leading youth orchestras, the CYO provides solid training in orchestral playing with professional coaching from some of the best clinicians and conductors.
