An international slate of early-music specialists, Ensemble Masques celebrates the 250th anniversary of Telemann’s death with a program of his most theatrical works.

The six members of Masques—hailing from Canada, France, Australia, Finland, and Belgium—work without conductor allowing their uncommon chemistry to perform with a spontaneity and freedom that brings the music of the 17th and 18th centuries to stunning life. Part of Calgary Pro Musica’s Masters Series, this is a must-see for fans of chamber music.

Catch Ensemble Masques perform on November 12 and 13, 2017 at the Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall, Rozsa Centre, University of Calgary (206 University Court NW).
