Featuring an interview with multi-platinum, Calgary-based recording artist Raghav, join the National Music Centre (NMC) for the next instalment of its ATB Storytellers Series.

Being interviewed by long-time friend and collaborator, legendary Toronto rapper Kardinal Offishall, the special event commemorates the opening of the next ATB Storytellers Exhibition, Festival Alberta, and includes a brief performance by Raghav.

“I’m excited to sit down with my friend Kardinal Offishall and share some of the stories and learnings from over a decade of creating and performing music around the world,” says Raghav, in a statement. “I’m also delighted to still call Calgary home, and thrilled to have a facility like Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre, in our own backyard.”

The second of three annual temporary exhibits documenting Alberta’s music history, Festival Alberta is free and accessible to the public Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm in Studio Bell’s Drop-in Zone from October 20, 2017 until April 2018. The exhibition includes a wide array of posters, festival memorabilia, and photos alongside video interviews and concert footage from some of the province’s influential festivals including the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Sled Island, Big Valley Jamboree, and many others.

Catch ATB Storytellers Series with Raghav on October 20, 2017 at Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre (850 4th St. SE). Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30pm, and the event will be recorded live.
