They took part in a bootcamp, studied hard, and gained an insiders edge. Now, the top 12 artists selected for Project WILD are ready to strut their stuff.

Project WILD: Country Showcase Series kicks off September 28, 2017 with four concerts, each featuring three acts. The artists will be vying for both the hearts of the audience as well as the judges and the public can even vote for their favourite act. The final three will be announced in November at a finale concert where the grand prize winner will receive a grand prize of $100,953.

The program aims to develop and launch the careers of some of Alberta’s up-and-coming country artists, and is supported by WILD 953 and Alberta Music. Selected musicians include Calgary’s own Mikaila Cooper, Charlie James, Brad Saunders, and Nice Horse.

Project WILD: Country Showcase Series runs September 28 to October 26, 2017 at Knoxville’s Calgary (840 9th Ave. SW) and the full lineup can be found at projectwildcountry.com. Tickets are now on sale with all proceeds going to the Unison Benevolent Fund.
