RCCO hosts recital at Knox United Church

Rashaan Allwood burst onto the Canadian classical music scene in 2013 when he earned 100% on his ARCT piano exam. Since then, he has tried his hand at other keyboard instruments, taking home many prizes including first prize in the organ category at last year’s Orchestra Symphonique de Montréal Manulife Competition.
Hosted by The Calgary Centre of the Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO), Allwood comes to Calgary to perform music by Bach, Mozart, Schumann, and more on Knox United Church’s mighty Casavant pipe organ.
The concert takes place at 8:00pm on September 23, 2017 at Knox United Church (506 4th St. SW). Tickets are $20 or $10 for students and seniors, and children 12 and under can attend for free.
